Cancer Expert Declares Cell Phone and Wireless Radiation as Carcinogenic to Humans

A Wall Street Journal investigation reports similar findings with one in ten towers out of compliance and experts concerned that out of compliance towers will be transmitting in the thermal range by around the end of 2015. Until the late 1980s the EPA carried out it own non-ionizing radiation research program.  Unfortunately, the EPA's mandate for developing non-ionizing radiation safety regulations was never fully funded. Its non-ionizing radiation regulatory authority has been eroded by industry lobbying, most significantly in the lead-up to passage of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 which gave the FCC sole authority for adopting RF safety regulations. The National Toxicology Study has found that the pulse-modulated microwave radiation emitted by cellphones causes cancer. The industry is working hard to "spin" these results. Help Stop 5G Wireless - a dangerous radiation intensive technology!

SEND IN FCC PUBLIC COMMENTS ABOUT "DIRTY" ELECTRICITY - August 11, 2016 Deadline

The FCC has finally opened a docket to look at "dirty" electricity and sources of radiated RF from electronics. The FCC standards related to "dirty" electricity, conducted RF, and inadvertently radiated RF have been developed primarily to prevent electronics and transmitters from interfering with each other. Please write in by August 11, 2016 with a brief synopsis of how "dirty" electricity has affected your health and request that the new standards be set to prevent health effects. The Stetzerizer "dirty" electricity meter was evaluated in Kazakhstan and health standards were set such that no more than 50 G/S units of dirty electricity should be allowed on building wiring to protect health (www.electricalpollution.com/documents/Sanitary_Norms.pdf). The FCC should adopt this standard and require device and light manufacturers to engineer their devices to put out substantially less than that. Frequencies above the range of the Stetzerizer meter should also have much tighter standards. Their effect is related to capacitive coupling and energy. A signal from the transmitter on a smart meter was found to be in violation of existing limits for conducted RF if the limits went that high (see http://stopsmartmetersny.org/debunkingutility.html for more information). Obviously this shows that new standards that extend the full range of existing and future transmitter technology are necessary to protect human health. Tightening of standards should extend to sources of conducted and radiated RF in cars. Many with RF sickness have trouble with cars due to conducted and radiated RF from components not designed to minimize RF emissions sufficient to protect human health. Sources include, but are not limited to, the alternator, spark plugs and distributor, fuel pump, air conditioning compressor controls, ignition switch, radio systems, and electronic displays. Proper filtering and design could minimize much of this. If this is a problem for you, be sure to mention it and ask that they revise these standards as well to protect human health. Availability of stripped down properly designed models should allow most people with RF sickness to use a car again. The docket does not explicitly deal with health, but comments should be put in anyway so they know that they have to address the health problems the inadequate standards are causing. Health should certainly fall under point 1b and 4a. Feel free to address other points in the docket as well (attached), especially those with technical expertise. Please take a moment to submit your comment. This office is not the same as the office responsible for broadband. I know they have had complaints from people about RF on wiring. This is an opportunity to ask the people who can take action to do so. Opening this docket is an indication that they are at least looking seriously at taking action. Transmitting Smart Meters Pose A Serious Threat To Public Health

Transmitting smart meters are being installed nationwide, driven in part by funding for the Smart Grid Program approved as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This is of great concern because the exposure to microwave and radiowave radiation from these meters is involuntary and continuous. The transmitting meters do comply with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) "safety" standards. However, those standards were initially designed to protect an average male from tissue heating (cooking) during a brief exposure. These standards were not designed to protect a diverse population from the non-thermal effects of continuous exposure to microwave and radiowave radiation. Therefore, these "safety" standards were not designed to protect the public from health problems under the circumstances which the meters are being used. The transmitting meters most often being used transmit continuously, every 4 to 28 seconds or so. This is picked up by a receiver and logged by the utility. Thus, the exposure is continuous and the "safety" standards the meters comply with are irrelevant to the situation. Please read this letter from the Radiation Protection Division of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding the limitations of the FCC standards. The un-safeness of the "safety" standards for the continuously transmitting smart meters is apparent from the reports of health problems ranging from headaches to poor sleep to heart palpitations that begin after their installation. Say NO to Industry Head for FCC!

Let your Senator know you oppose Mr. Wheeler's nomination. Remind your Senator to vote NO on Mr. Wheeler's confirmation. The confirmation of Thomas E. Wheeler for FCC Chairman could come up for a vote anytime now. Mr. Wheeler's nomination almost came up for a vote last Wednesday. It has been temporarily held up. Thomas E. Wheeler, former president of the CTIA who opposed meaningful RF safety limits in the 1996 Telecommunications Act, has been nominated to be Chairman of the FCC. He should not be heading the FCC at a time when the FCC is reassessing whether it needs to update its RF safety limits. His conflicts of interest are too great. Mr. Wheeler was key in preventing enactment of biologically-based RF safety limits in the past. He is the WRONG choice to head the FCC now, when it is again considering biologically-based RF safety limits. His nomination will soon be voted on by the full Senate. Off-grid electrical power does not guarantee freedom from electrical pollution

Electrical pollution or "dirty power" causes billions of dollars of damage annually to industry. "Dirty power" is the 60 Hz power we pay for distorted by high frequencies. Electrical ground currents are caused by overloading of the primary neutral, the wire that returns the power to the substation. The primary neutral was not sized to carry all the high frequencies generated by modern electronics. The "dirty power" that is forced to return to the substation via the earth by the small size of the primary neutral does not discriminate between those on the grid and those who are off. Electricity returns to the substation by the path of least resistance. That path can include your yard and house. A simple thing such as washing dishes or standing on the lawn can then make you part of an electrical circuit. Representative Gronemus has authored legislation to address this problem (2003 Assembly Bill AB529). Off-grid houses frequently use inverters to convert the DC power generated by alternative energy sources to the AC power we expect to find in our outlets. Unfortunately, inverters also generate high frequencies when they generate the 60 Hz waveform. Without the proper filters these high frequencies are transmitted throughout the house's electrical system with the 60 Hz signal. The high frequencies on home wiring can cause Radiofrequency Sickness. The symptoms of which can include: sleeplessness or disturbed sleep, fever, rash, nausea, inability to concentrate, thinking in a fog, short-term memory problems, sore joints (particularly hip joints), irritable bowel syndrome, miscarriage, and birth defects. The symptoms that come and go, particularly the fever, clear up outside of the exposure area as long as there is not continued exposure to high frequencies from another source. The alternative energy off-grid homes we have measured have had some of the highest numbers measured on theMicrosurge Meter. Unfortunately, off-grid homes cannot use the readily available Stetzerizer Filters. I have yet to hear of an inverter available that is "clean" enough.

Electrical Pollution: An environmental trigger for multiple sclerosis symptoms for many

A number of people with multiple sclerosis (MS) have found that their symptoms improved within about a month of taking steps to eliminate exposure to high frequencies on building wiring. Electromagnetic hypersensitivity: biological effects of dirty electricity with emphasis on diabetes and multiple sclerosis is a peer-reviewed paper about two such cases. Newly published epidemiological study links exposure to "dirty" power to an increased risk for cancer

A New Electromagnetic Exposure Metric: High Frequency Voltage Transients Associated With Increased Cancer Incidence in Teachers in a California School by Samuel Milham, MD, MPH, and L. Lloyd Morgan, BS has been published in the American Journal of Industrial Medicine (2008) The researchers did a retrospective study of the cancers at a school where teachers felt they had an unusually high incidence of cancer and authorities were denying the existence of a cluster. Their conclusions were "The cancer incidence in the teachers at this school is unusually high and is strongly associated with high frequency voltage transients, which may be a universal carcinogen, similar to ionizing radiation." This is a very strong statement. Not only should further studies be done, but existing regulations to keep power clean should be strictly and immediately enforced. New regulations limiting the pollution level each electronic device is allowed to put out should be put in place. Currently such regulations are designed to prevent radio interference. Wisconsin Representative Gronemus reintroduces The Electrical Consumers Bill of Rights

Representative Barbara Gronemus is circulating her bill to eliminate electrical ground currents for co-sponsors. It is LRB 1641/1, the Electrical Consumers Bill of Rights. Please call your legislators and ask that they co-sponsor it. The bill is elegant in its simplicity. It merely codifies the National Electrical Safety Code requirement that the earth not be used as a continuous return path for electricity. The legislation requires that the utilities stop using the ground as a return path for electrical current. (At this time over 70% of electrical current returns via the ground, traveling uncontrolled on lawns, plumbing, playground equipment, us, and anything else conductive in its path, which is not necessarily anywhere near electrical wires.) It allows the utilities to determine the most effective and least costly method to use in each situation. There are a number of methods available see EPRI Publication TR-106003 Handbook for the Assessment and Management of Magnetic Fields Caused by Distribution Lines for details. It also provides recourse for citizens, besides lawsuits, if the utilities are not responsive to notification of current returning on the ground. While the human health effects of exposure to electrical ground currents have gotten little media attention, that is not because they are non-existent. Electrical ground currents are pretty conclusively linked to an increase in the risk of childhood leukemia. The high frequencies that pollute our electricity and cause the electrical ground currents have been linked to increased blood glucose levels, multiple sclerosis symptoms, asthma, allergies, migraines, chronic fatigue syndrome and an assortment of other symptoms, see the Research Page for details. Dirty power cannot be totally cleaned up until we get all the electricity back under control on a wire. The problem of electrical ground currents was noticed first by farmers for two main reasons. One, farmyards with animals are very conductive due to the urine and manure. Two, cows deliver a product that is quantifiable with an expected yield for certain care practices. When this is no longer being achieved, it is obvious something is wrong, especially if the cows are also dying right and left. When electrical ground currents are the culprit, milk production often varies wildly and only correlates to the electrical environment, see dose response curve, toward bottom of the News page. The dose response curve and replication (50 or more cows per herd) makes it obvious. With humans, each one of us is viewed in isolation. There has been extreme reluctance to examine electrical exposure via plumbing, ground currents, dirty power on wires or any other source. People are much more likely to be treated symptom by symptom, illness by illness. The increasing body of research on exposure to electrical pollution shows humans are profoundly affected. For the health of our society we should require electricity remain on electrical wires during normal operation of the electrical grid. An Electrical Pollution Meter Now Available

The Microsurge Meter plugs into an electrical outlet giving a continuous reading of the electrical pollution levels on the wiring. The meter measures the energy in the radio frequency range riding on the 60 or 50 Hz sine wave. In November 2003, the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan issued sanitary norms governing electrical pollution on building wiring which set the highest allowable reading for building wiring at 50 on the Microsurge Meter. ("Permissible levels of high-frequency electromagnetic pollutions' voltage in a wires of industrial frequency alternating current: Sanitary-epidemiologic norms" and the decree on "On measures of decreasing of negative influence of physical factors on human health") Readings over 50 are required to be reduced to less than 50 using filters or some other means. They recognize that an acceptable level of 50 is not the same as a safe level. My personal experience, corroborated by others recovering from radiowave sickness, has been that levels need to be below 20 for me not to be sick, the farther below 20 the better. Are Increasing Electrical Pollution Levels a Factor in the Rising Rate of Diabetes?

(Click to enlarge) Left is a graph of blood sugar versus electrical pollution levels as measured using the peak to peak electrical pollution meter designed by Professor Emeritus at University of California in Berkeley Dr. Martin Graham. This person was initially diagnosed with Type II diabetes mellitus or adult onset diabetes. The diagnosis was changed after the doctors were shown that the person could eat anything, as long as the electrical pollution levels were low, without causing elevated blood sugar levels. However, when pollution levels were high the person's blood sugar would shoot up, without eating anything.

Mitigation of Electrical Pollution in the Home

In "Mitigation of Electrical Pollution in the Home," released on 19 April 2002, Professor Emeritus at University of California in Berkeley Dr. Martin Graham discusses how people can cheaply and easily identify whether they are exposed to electrical pollution, as well as, a safe easy way to mitigate the problem once it is identified. He suggests using an inexpensive portable hand held AM radio to detect electrical pollution (See "Mitigation of Electrical Pollution in the Home" for details). In the paper, he also discusses the use of filters to reduce/eliminate exposure to electrical pollution. These filters have advantages over previous filters in that they are small, portable (They plug into any outlet.), have a higher frequency range, and any person who knows how to plug in an electrical device can install them. Immediate Action Required to Keep Wisconsin Assembly Bill 529 From Being Killed

In Wisconsin, The Electrical Bill of Rights (AB529) needs to get to the floor by March 11. After March 11, the Assembly is done for the year. In order for AB529 to get to the floor, the Committee on Energy and Utilities needs to have an Executive Session and decide to send it to the floor. An Executive Session is the session during which the committee meets, discusses the legislation, and decides whether to pass it to the floor or not. By not having a session, the Chairman essentially seems to be deciding to kill the legislation without having to come out and say so. The scheduling of the executive session is entirely at the discretion of the chairman. The chairman of the Committee on Energy and Utilities is Rep. Scott Jensen. Please call Chairman Jensen's office, (608) 264-6970, and politely request that he schedule an executive session ASAP so the legislation can get to the floor yet this year. Remind him how important this is to you. Please also call your Representative and ask them to ask that an executive session be scheduled. If your Representative is one of those on the committee, please be particularly persistent. Again, remind them how important this is to you. (The squeaky wheel really does get the grease.) Surviving in Our Electrically Polluted Environment

CNN "Moneyline" aired a program on the hazards of powerline electromagnetic fields on Thursday, 15 August 2002 at 6 PM (EST) based on the California Health Report. New Legislation Would Close Grounding Rod Loophole

Wisconsin Representative Barbara Gronemus (D-Whitehall) introduced legislation (2001 Assembly Bill 754) in Wisconsin during the most recent legislative session to eliminate electrical pollution. The bill was introduced late and got held up in committee. Rep. Gronemus plans on re-introducing the legislation next November.
